1st Steering Committee Meeting

The first Steering Committee (SC) meeting marked the official establishment of the Committee, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP), the Energy and Water Services Regulatory Commission (ERC), ADKOM, and ZELS. The meeting provided an opportunity to introduce the governance structure of the project and formally initiate the work of the Steering Committee.

During the meeting, the overall objectives, scope, and planned activities of the project were presented. Particular attention was given to the expected outcomes related to supporting reforms in the water sector, strengthening institutional capacities, and improving the delivery of water and wastewater services in line with the EU Acquis.

Members of the Steering Committee discussed the planned implementation approach and confirmed their role in providing strategic guidance, oversight, and coordination throughout the project. The Committee will meet periodically to review progress, provide recommendations, and support the effective implementation of project activities.
