A workshop was held in Bitola as part of the preparation of the Study for Separation / Clustering of Public Utility Companies (PUCs). The event was intended for representatives from the municipalities and PUCs of Bitola, Novaci, and Mogila, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP) and the project team.
The workshop aimed to establish cooperation modalities between the consultants and the selected beneficiaries, map stakeholder expectations, and present the objectives, structure, and methodology for developing the clustering study.
Discussions focused on the concept of water service clustering, including organisational, legal, technical, and financial aspects, as well as international experiences with the regionalisation of water services. The workshop concluded with a plenary discussion summarising key inputs from participants and outlining the next steps in the preparation of the study.
