A regional workshop was organised in Kumanovo as part of the activities related to the preparation of the Study for Separation / Clustering of Public Utility Companies (PUCs). The workshop was intended for representatives from the municipalities and PUCs of Kumanovo, Staro Nagoričane, and Lipkovo, together with representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP) and the project team.

The session introduced the concept of aggregation and clustering of water services and explored relevant international practices in the regionalisation of utilities. Through expert presentations and moderated discussions, participants examined key organisational, legal, technical, and financial considerations related to potential clustering models.

The workshop provided a platform for exchanging views among local stakeholders and collecting valuable inputs to support the development of the clustering study. The meeting concluded with a summary of key points and agreement on the next steps in the process.
